Structured or unstructured: how a cap sits

This range has 268 caps from New Era, adidas, Nike, Under Armour, Puma and more. Before the logo, look at how the cap is built, because that decides how it sits on your head.

• Unstructured: the Nike Club Unstructured Swoosh Cap is soft woven twill with a classic 6-panel design, a mid-depth crown and a curved bill.
• Structured: the Nike Dri-FIT Club Structured Metal Logo Cap has a mid-depth crown that keeps its shape. New Era caps such as the 9Forty and 9Twenty have a structured crown with a sharp silhouette.
• Stretch fit: the Under Armour Blitzing Cap uses stretch construction for a comfortable fit, with UA Classic Fit: a pre-curved visor and structured front panels in a low profile.

Caps for training

For workouts, the fabric and the sweatband matter most. The Nike Dri-FIT Club cap is made with Dri-FIT technology that helps wick away sweat. The adidas Lightweight Baseball Cap is made of a light material that breathes and uses at least 50% recycled materials. The Puma Essentials PUMA Cat Baseball Cap has a moisture-wicking sweatband, and the Under Armour Blitzing has a stretchy elastic sweatband that wicks sweat.

Team caps

New Era makes 86 of the caps here, many with team branding. Baseball teams include the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves. From basketball there are the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors, plus the Kansas City Chiefs and a Red Bull F1 cap. Styles include the 9Forty, the 9Twenty, The League and the Clean Trucker 2.
