Is the weight in the name for one piece or for the pair?

Every set on this page is made by Body Sculpture. The number in the product name does not always mean the same thing. On most listings it is the weight of one piece. On the lightest soft set it is the weight of the pair. The specifications give both figures:

• Soft Wrist / Ankle Weights (0.5Kg): 0.25 kg each, 0.5 kg the pair.
• Wrist/Ankle Weights (0.45Kg) and Soft Wrist/ Ankle Weights (0.45Kg): 0.45 kg each, 0.9 kg the pair.
• Soft Wrist/Ankle Weights (1.125Kg): 1.125 kg each, 2.25 kg the pair.
• Wrist / Ankle Weights (1.15Kg) and Adjustable Soft Ankle/ Wrist Weights (1.15Kg): 1.15 kg each, 2.3 kg the pair.
• Ankle Weights (2.25 Kg) and Adjustable Ankle Weights (2.25Kg): 2.25 kg each, 4.5 kg the pair.

Neoprene or nylon: what are ankle and wrist weights made of?

The listings name three builds. The soft sets use a neoprene construction with adjustable fastening. The standard sets use heavy nylon with full Velcro closure straps. One more pair, the Ankle & Wrist Weights, has a soft silicone coating with an adjustable elastic band and Velcro.

Which set lets you change the load?

The Adjustable Soft Ankle/ Wrist Weights (1.15Kg) do. You pull up the soft neoprene and add or remove the increments, so one set covers more than one resistance level.
