Home, third, pre-match or fan jersey
Most clubs here come in more than one shirt. Next to home and away jerseys, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Juventus and Al Ahly have third jerseys, and Real Madrid and Manchester United have pre-match jerseys. Some national team shirts come as a fan jersey: adidas cuts the Italy home fan jersey slim, with an embroidered logo.
If you want to wear a shirt for the whole game, look at the fabric. adidas says the Al Ahly home jersey uses sweat-wicking AEROREADY fabric built for 90 minutes of play.
AEROREADY, Climacool, Dri-FIT: same job, different names
Each brand gives its sweat-wicking fabric its own name. adidas uses AEROREADY on the Tiro 25 Competition training jersey and the Squadra 25 jersey, and Climacool on the Entrada26 sleeveless jersey and the Real Madrid away mini kit. Nike uses Dri-FIT across its Academy range, and says it moves sweat away from your skin so it dries faster. OASIS uses Dri-Fit fabric on its kids' training and match sets. Kids' kit is sized by age
adidas sizes most kids' football kit by age, not by S, M or L. Mini kits and home sets for toddlers run from 1-2 years to 5-6 years, and kids' club jerseys run from 7-8 years to 15-16 years. The Real Madrid home mini kit comes as a jersey, shorts and socks, while the Juventus home mini kit is a jersey and shorts. Nike's kids' pieces use XS to XL instead.
