Which Cool Gear bottle size is right?

Cool Gear bottles here run from a small kids' bottle to a large one for a full day out. The listings give each size in ml or oz:

• 414 ml (14 oz): the Taper Bottle for kids, with a flip-top lid and a built-in straw.
• 473 ml (16 oz): the Tritan Bottle and a kids' Water Bottle with a freezer stick.
• 18 oz: the Contour F&F Clip, with a clip to hang it on a bag, and the Flip N Flow Contour bottle.
• 650 ml (22 oz): the Cove bottle with a freezer gel stick and a straw.
• 24 oz to 28 oz: the 24 oz Water Bottle for adults and the 28 oz Infusion bottle with a Flash-Cap.
• 946 ml: the Gravity Insulated Water Bottle.

How the freezer stick keeps drinks cold

Several Cool Gear bottles come with a freezer stick, which Cool Gear calls EZ-Freeze. The stick holds a freezer gel. You put the stick in the freezer, then twist and lock it to the cap, and it keeps the drink colder. The Cove, the Gravity Insulated bottle and the 473 ml kids' Water Bottle all list one. The Taper Bottle has a removable cooling stick too.

Lids for kids and lids for adults

Lids change how a bottle is used. The kids' bottles mostly have a flip-up sipper or a flip-top with a straw, and a finger loop or carry loop to hold. For adults, the 22 oz Horizon has a Flip N Flow lid with a leak-resistant seal. The 28 oz Infusion has a removable cap with an air-tight, leak-proof seal.

For a child going to school, start with the 473 ml kids' Water Bottle with its freezer stick. For long days in the heat, pick the 946 ml Gravity Insulated bottle. See more kids' bottles or all bottles.
