Which loop band strength do you need?

Every band here is from Body Sculpture. The Fitness Loops are long natural latex loops, 208 cm each, and the width tells you the resistance. The wider the loop, the higher the listed resistance:

• 1.9 cm: 13.5 kg
• 2.1 cm: 14.5 kg
• 2.9 cm: 19.3 kg
• 3.2 cm: 21 kg
• 4.5 cm: 27.4 kg
• 6.4 cm: 38 kg

Body Sculpture says the Fitness Loop adds both resistance and assistance to a workout, so one loop can make an exercise harder or help you through it.

Band sets and bands with handles

If you want several strengths in one buy, the Power Band Set has three latex bands of different resistance, at 0.35 mm, 0.5 mm and 0.65 mm thick, each 120 x 15 cm. The Multi Resistance Training Kit has five adjustable tubes with a door anchor, two ankle wraps, two handles and a carry bag, for rows, pulls, raises and fly sets.

For pilates, the Pilates Trimmer and Pilates Trimmer Extra use adjustable cords with foam-coated handles. The Extra lists three resistance levels: 6.6 lb, 4.4 lb and 3.3 lb.

Latex or fabric?

Most bands here are latex. The Flexi Band is the fabric option, made of thickened fabric with an anti-slip rubber layer, at 6 x 165 cm in size S/M.

If you are new to bands, start with the Power Band Set to try three strengths. Add a Fitness Loop in the width that matches your training. You can also see all resistance bands, the full Body Sculpture range or yoga and pilates gear.
