What Dri-FIT does, and what ADV adds

Dri-FIT is Nike's sweat-wicking fabric. In Nike's words, it moves sweat away from your skin for quicker evaporation, helping you stay dry and comfortable. Every item on this page is Nike, from T-shirts and shorts to tank tops, leggings, pants and caps.

Dri-FIT ADV is the step up. Nike says it combines moisture-wicking fabric with advanced engineering. You will find it on tennis pieces such as the Court Dri-FIT ADV Slam polo, from a collection Nike designed with feedback from elite players.

Running, football, gym or tennis

For running, the Miler and Tempo tops are made for runners, as their names say: Running T-shirt and Running Top. There are running shorts and tank tops to match in running clothing.

For football, the Academy range covers tops, shorts and pants in adult and kids' sizes. The kids' Academy23 top adds mesh side panels for more airflow. The full range is in football clothing.

For the gym, the Primary T-shirt has embroidered underarm eyelets to let air in, and an underarm gusset for easier movement. The Pro T-shirt uses a soft jersey fabric. More gym kit is in training clothing.

For tennis, the Court Victory T-shirt has an offset seam on the back that helps your shoulders move through each shot, and side seam gussets for extra stretch.

If you are new to Dri-FIT, start with a plain training T-shirt, since T-shirts are the biggest group here. If you run, add a Miler or Tempo top.
