CUBS school bags by stage: nursery to senior
CUBS sizes its school bags by school stage, so start with your child's year, not the print.
For nursery, the Nursery Lunch Backpack measures 28 x 22 x 9 cm. Pre-school backpacks come in the small size: CUBS gives the Cuddly Blue Bear one as 39 x 27 cm and lists it at 0.5 kg. Junior Student backpacks hold 28 litres in size M, and the senior backpacks hold 36 litres in size L.
The bigger senior bags suit older students. CUBS says its Super-Sized Senior backpack, the Tie Dye Colorful Black, is useful for high school or college students and has a padded laptop sleeve. The newer 28 and 36 litre backpacks have padded, adjustable shoulder straps and a breathable back panel.

Build a set: lunch bag and pencil case to match
Many CUBS prints come in more than one piece. The Hot Air Balloon print comes as a 28 litre backpack and a 5 litre lunch bag. Robots Big Eyes comes as a backpack, a lunch bag and a pencil case. CUBS itself suggests picking a matching lunch bag to complete the look.
The lunch bags have an insulated lining that CUBS says keeps snacks cooler for longer. The 5 litre size is small enough for a backpack's side pocket, yet it holds a full lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
