The sole has more rubber than previous versions of the Downshifter to provide maximum durability. It is made of approximately 9% Nike Grind, a material made from recycled manufacturing scraps. The lightweight, breathable mesh keeps your child's feet cool and comfortable in all activities. Elastic laces and a Velcro closure make it easy to put on and take off the shoe. The soft foam underfoot provides effective cushioning on a daily basis. The sole has a full-length groove for added flexibility.
